USADA HAS RECOGNIZED A POSITIVE TESTED ATHLETE FOR OSRATINE

According to a USADA announcement dated August 31, 2018, was positively tested wrestler Victoria Francis of Colorado Springs, Colo., for banned substance ostarine (Group S1, 2 – Other Anabolic Substances, Subgroup Selective Androgen Receptor Modulators / SARMs / 2018 Prohibited List). The Athlete has adopted a one-year ban on anti-doping rule violation and the proven presence of a banned substance. The sanction was reduced to one year from the standard four-year sanction period, inasmuch as it proved that its positivity was due to the use of a contaminated nutritional supplement, with no mention of ostarine on the product labeling.
